Strategic Pathfinder™
Where should we go?
Strategic Pathfinder™ describes an orientation towards direction and choice when the route ahead is not yet fully settled. It is one of four independent Ability Types within the current Staffability model.
What the label does not mean
Strategic Pathfinder™ does not mean someone is more senior, more intelligent or more capable than someone with another Ability profile. It does not automatically mean that person should hold a strategy role. Ability orientation is different from learned Capability and demonstrated Competence.
Part of a wider profile
A Strategic Pathfinder™ score should not be interpreted as the whole person. Its meaning sits alongside the person's Insight Navigator™, Systems Architect™ and Delivery Accelerator™ scores. The pattern across all four matters. Depending upon that pattern, Staffability may eventually describe a clearly differentiated Primary Ability™, a strong Secondary, a closely paired profile or a broader pattern.
